Main typeface

The brand’s primary typeface, Onest (from Google Fonts), offers a full weight range from Extralight to Black. For headlines, we typically reach for the heavier end – Bold and above – while longer passages use the lighter side, from Light (for greater contrast) through to Medium.

Hierarchy & typeface usage

Use Onest for every level of typography, drawing on its full weight range from Extralight to Black. Set primary headlines (H1) in heavier weights to give them the greatest impact. Second-level headings and sub-headings should also appear in heavier weights such as SemiBold when the layout calls for slightly less emphasis. Highlight any key words or call-outs in Bold, so that critical information can be spotted at a glance. For body copy, rely on the clear and comfortable Regular weight; switch to Light only when a more airy texture genuinely benefits the page design.

Maintain line spacing for headlines carefully: keep each stack compact, yet leave enough room to prevent diacritics from colliding with descenders. type.pdf
